Isn't his gripe more to do with the fact that Catalans being able to sign players whom can't get a visa in the UK gives them an unfair advantage?
Either way, I couldn't care less.

The assumption here is that French employment law will grant him a working visa whereas the UK wouldn't, which I'm not sure is the case with Carney (albeit IIRC it was the case with Bird).
Hence, assuming he's legally entitled to work, GH wants to adopt the role of "moral guardian" and try to deny him registration whilst perhaps not being best placed to do so due to the antics of some players at his own club ?????

its weird how much that is brought up. Its almost always against Bailey and Leeds, the tool who started it never gets a mention, its never really thrown at Chev Walker even though both got a stronger punishment than Bailey and is brought up for more frequently than the likes of Paleaaesina or Cockayne, Hull Fans tell me Lee Radford is known to the doormen of Hull for liking a few beers and a scrap as if it is somehow endearing. Odd.
On this, not a great look that some of SL's best imports are Aussies that the NRL has given up on because of poor behaviour so there is a good point there. Saying that Carney shouldnt be de-registered for what he did. If his club wanted to sack him then that is their choice, but what he did wasnt bad enough for him to be deregistered.

Hethrington needs to just keep quiet. As others have said, he can't complain about Carney when he himself has supported and stuck up for players who have gone to prison. IMO I don't think any chairman can take the moral high ground as I'm sure they've all supported players who've been bad lads in one way or another.
