Wigan and you follow hull so what? Ben flower clearly tackles above the knees considering you can still see the back of the knee joint during the tackle and Micky Peae has tackled the knee joint. Unless you are talking about the 2nd tackle where you can't see point of contact full stop the only thing he does do wrong is he lost control and has gone right through but he has been sin binned for that and the disciplinary panel can't judge on something they can't see.

bowens high shot wasn't a clever one and he was lucky not to be banned, i guess that because we was playing in the WCC in Australia had helped him avoid one. Still haven't seen a video with a clear view on where he tackles dixon or where the point of contact starts but the obvious outcome proves that at some point he has made contact with the jaw, but as far the length of the ban i think they made it up as you can't actually see the contact.

Maybe thats his personal opinion, honestly i don't see it being worth a 2 game ban but the rules and punishments are there and he has fallen foul of it. In my opinion its a caution and tell him to avoid tackling the knee joint because he clearly hasn't set out to hurt the player.
