With Ryan Hoffman and Brett Finch playing for Melbourne you would expect Wigan fans to be supporting Melbourne.

With Gareth Widdop playing for Melbourne you would expect Halifax fans to be supporting Melbourne.

But I am influenced by other considerations.

Cameron Smith is the greatest hooker of all time.

Billy Slater may be the greatest full back of all time.

I will be too awe struck by their appearances to want anything more than to see them play at their best. Hoping which side wins should be secondary to hoping that Smith and Slater will perform at their best.

I will watch the game as a neutral and who ever annoys me the most like constant high tackles or holding down etc ill want to lose. May the best team on the night win and hopefully the only talking point is about how good the game was and not about the ref/bad calls etc

This. I genuinely don't mind who wins as long as it's a cracking game.

Had it involved any other NRL team i'd be supporting Leeds. But because I have a lot of family and friends who live in the Melbourne area and are regulars at the Storm I'll be supporting them tonight.
