Sadly Caro doesn't seem as fast with a ball in hand. Usually seems to get run down - even in the Under 20s when I've occassionallly watched that. But how hard was Offiah trying to build him up in a blatant attempt to increase his agent's fee?

He has increased my respect for him as a person. As a ref I think he's ok too....ish.

Yep, he's in his 40's is Thierry so he didn't do badly at all against a load of very quick youngsters.

I think he's quite a poor ref but he doesn't seem to have the ego of some of the other refs and like you, he's gone up in my estimation for having the balls to take part.

I thought it was fastest man in super league. Not fastest man in the Valvoline cup. Apart from Broughton they were all under 20 players. We need a proper one. From the super league clubs I would like to see the following go toe to toe.

There were players from across the divisions competing on Tuesday evening - its just that the fact seems to have been ignored for some reason on this thread. Gareth Potts of Batley actually finished in third place.

Monaghan?? Im quicker than him over 100m if I let him start and had a brew first.. Atkins is quick but im sure Evans is quicker. If Briscoes the fastest man at hull then they've got problems, I rate Briscoe as a player but he lacks true pace

give ah van a spear and have a big ol dinosaur at the other end for him to club and he may be the quickest
