| Quote Roofaldo="Roofaldo"Bailey? What about Andy Lynch?
He's been consistently one of the best prop forwards in SL for years, yet he gets overlooked at international time for more "fashionable" players'"
Lynch has either been injured or turned down the chance to play for England time and agin. He'll be 34 by the time the world cup comes round. I think his chance has gone.

I think he's turned it down too many times to be considered now

| I would much rather see young promising forwards come into the team now Peacock has gone. Give them the exiles games and tri nations to get them used to international rugby and see if they can make the step up

Exactly...and yet after a massive couple of games in Origin and looking good in the NRL, the Aussies have yet another quality young player pushing for selection!!
Compare that with this discussion of Ryan Bailey for England and is there any wonder we are so far behind??

| prefer to see chris hill or mike cooper step up they have both looked excellent this year making meters, nothing too fancy but do the hard yards and keep gaining after contact

| Id like to see Hill have a go. Tough lad with good leg drive from what I've seen, making yards after the collision is vital against the Aussies.

| Quote MjM="MjM"I would suggest that at the moment he is suffering from the Leeds malaise - he isn't playing consistently enough and certainly isn't dominating enough in SL to be picked for England.'"
Neither are most of the Leeds team and yet there were six of them in the England team last week.
Bailey isn't good enough for international RL and I too would prefer some younger players given the opportunity now there is a place available. Chris Hill would be high on the list for me aswell.

| Chris Hill should be given shot IMO.
Mossop, Hill, Harrison etc, are the future and should be gaining experience.
