Then gets up ready to start swinging when bailey picks him up and there's clearly nothing wrong with him. Seconds after being spread eagled and trying to look knocked out. Take the blinkers off and get over it.

Ah, another bash Bailey thread. You obviously didn't intend to discuss maturely what he was actually banned for, which in most peoples opinions was a very soft way to get banned. Silverwood stood in the Leeds defensive line as they tried to drift across and Bailey who was frantically trying to slide pushed Silverwood out the way as all players would who were in a scramble. But don't let facts get in the way of your anti bailey agenda.

Can't be having players put their hands on the ref - that's football behaviour; correct call which could reasonably be described as harsh but fair.

I've thought this for years. He's been very lucky to have won what he has with Leeds.

I don't think it was malicious but we can't start having players put their hands on the ref just because they feel a bit annoyed. Plus he also pleaded guilty.

Bailey strikes me as a bit like Hock, but softer; he has some great attributes but a poor attitude.

Agreed I've seen worse however you can't push the ref, now I've not seen the CC semi-final 2010 so I cant vouch for his performance. However I am constantly surprised to see him still in the Leeds Squad considering the quality of players around him. I can't remember a "great" game from him personally (again from my memory).

Perhaps the coaches see something I don't, maybe he's a good player and I'm blinkered?

Again I go back to Brown incident, I don't see how Brown getting high shotted is Browns fault. Bailey picks him up and smacks him one for no reason, he goes looking for it against a smaller player. Thats how I personally see Bailey every game, which is very different to how I look at players like Peacock and Leuleui.
