Silverwood, easily the most consistent, probably followed by Thaler. Ganson is still prone to ruining games with his attention-seeking, Uncle Albert is way too erratic, missing the obvious and changing his mind, Bentham is good but his Wigan track record means I can't vote for him, Childs is improving but too whistle-happy.

It's a tough job and anybody is going to make the odd blunder now and again. However Alibert is currently the best by some distance. After that Bentham and Thaler, I don't see what people like in Silverwood. Ganson is far too concerned with himself and Child sadly doesn't appear to have a clue.

Alibert is the best for reffing the match, child's is the best for wrecking them and Gansons the best for hitting old la.... Nevermind!

No, for letting the players play the game and not being petty. Fans turn up to watch the players play Rugby, not the refs ref it.

Generally i turn up to watch a fair game, not one dragged to the lowest common denominator by a ref allowing the game to "flow"

Just like the Leigh-Catalans game last week was a fair game and the ref was the star of the show blowing up every 2 minutes.

It was only fair in terms of Silverwood ignoring all offences by both sides. It was one of the most gutless performances I have seen for some time. Obviously didn't want a bashing in the Aussie media.

That is usually down to the players and how they want to play!!!

If they want to play you will never see the match officials, if they don't then the whistle, etc is activated.

Once the players get it right and stop trying to bend/break the rules then the game is far better.
