I mentioned that on another thread RB, it has to go. 20,000 fans in two games has been lost to clubs for 80k.
When we've got 18 clubs and with Perth and Nz in different time zones 3 on fri, sat and sun has to be looked at. |

thing clubs have to realise is it isn't just $40k. It is $40k plus whatever Monday night is worth in the TV deal. If they want max $'s in their NRL grant then they have to live with the fact that 3-4 times a year they are going to have to play a Monday night in front of lower crowds.

yeh because a TV company is going to pay more money for a slot that doesn't rate as well! Monday night Football is a ratings bonanza. The key issue is getting whats its worth, not binning it.
