They talk about 'Passive Income' on their site... just seems fishy.
I can understand why the RFL agreed terms with Engage. They're a family and lifestyle orientated assurance company. They fit into the RFL's emphasis on grassroots, exercise, community and family-orientated entertainment. Probiz seems to be the opposite of this; they're about willy swinging sessions on the golf course and splashing the cash.
I could be wrong, they could be very reputable, but I'm not sure the fit is right for the RFL and SL.'"

Considering they have started to sponsor and build ties with RL (such as the recent stunt with the SL players pulling a plane) and said that they are interested in doing more I think Emirates could be worth persuading to sponsor the SL competition. They are the sort of large brand we need as a sport to be looking to attract. Such a sponsor would surely help improve the image of the sport.

i dont know what the problem with probiz is,they are putting their money where their mouth is and although they are new to the game they have attended all 3 cas games so far and also the world club challenge at wigan,they are getting behind the game and our team in paticular and their money should be has good has anyone else`s.

I think some people, whilst always happy to see investment into RL, are a little suspicious of a company that appears to have come out of nowhere and have suddenly found a big interest in sport. Within a few months Probiz have become Cas' main shirt sponsors and had The Jungle renamed, sponsored the WCC, sponsored Halifax and sponsored Sussex CCC ground as well.
There have been rumblings over what Probiz actually do and the way they do it and people are also a little suspicious of a corporation that has 18 current separate companies and 5 dissolved companies on the Companies House register.
If they're genuine, fantastic. Their arrival and enthusiasm is just surprising that's all. |
