Could you imagine if SL had a club in a non heartland city of 2million with 15k fans, a 20k+ stadium and a jnr set up that was already producing 1st grade players? I think we'd be in by now! |

Let's not get too excited. Brisbane is 2million+, Perth is closer to 1.5million. |

| If you look at table titled capital city you will see Perth's population for the metro region as 1.659 million. this is 18 months ago and is estimated to have grown by close to 90k in that time. Thanks for proving me right!  |

You mean the table I just quoted in my post? Those are the latest projections released by the ABS.
Like I said, Perth's population is closer to 1.5 million than it is to 2 million. Assuming that Perth has grown by 52K in '09-'10 that'd still put it at closer to 1.5 than 2 million. Don't really understand what there is to disagree with tbh. |
