| Quote Wellsy13="Wellsy13"Why could they not have still called it the Jungle (The PRO
BIZ Jungle)? Why the Coliseum?'"
Maybe because Probiz wanted to get rid of the remnants of the old sponsor. The Jungle was our old sponsor, but for some reason we kept the name after they pulled out.

| As people have said who really cares what the stadium is called?
The greatest stadium in the NRL as well as being known as 'Shark Park' is actually called 'Toyota Park'... it has also been Endeavour Field, Ronson Park & Caltex Park in the past...

| All sounds bizarre and a bit of a pipedream to me...I had to check myself to see if this was April 1 (especially with a backer called Nahaboo)
the international appeal of Castleford...still if you can bring the World Cup to Qatar maybe you can bring a medium size club in a minority sport to the completely barren lands (Lebanon Aussies aside) of the Middle East.
Mind you maybe thats more realistic than using their 400 offices around the UK to market the club. Sure there will be a big demand in Aberdeen for the club..
As for calling it the Coliseum...it would make a modicum of sense if you changed the nickname of the club to something Roman - Castleford Centurions anybody?!!!

| It really dosn't matter what you call a stadium, if a rubbish team play then that is what happens and people will not go.
It's a strange WORLD WIDE thing.
Yet in RL the STADIUM is the primary point of the game and what happens on the field is seen as irrelevant.
Truely bizarre.

Barry, you're just like a old man in the corner, being quite racist. Shark Park isn't too bad, but I'll forever love AAMI Park as a venue since the Melbourne Derby in the a-league this year.

| Just to clarify, As part of their sponsorship of the club, They are sponsering the new stadium, So the new stadium will either be called the Probiz Stadium, Or the Colliseum. The money these guys have invested is absolutely ridiculous. And they then met because they couldnt wait till 2012, To sponsor the jungle too. Free money for Cas
Not only are they serious about the stadium, But the club as well. And advertising the club and the game in the middle east is going to work wonders for investing in us, And could work well for the game as a whole.
Also, More good news this week as a big name will be handing over the plans to the council on Wednesday i think, For full planning permission of the new stadium.
All positive signs, Which should secure a stadium, A Franchise And a very bright future for Cas.
Bet those Wakey fans with the wooden spoons a few years ago arent so smug now.
