Chris Ashton's try at St Helens four years ago was an absolute blinder.
Wigan got thumped that day but it was still a great try. So he can score them.

As for this last season and being biased, Wigan 2nd try in the GF scored by Gleeson was a very good try.

Sandor Earl for Penrith v Canberra - airborne, had to contort his body to avoid the corner post & ground the ball. Incredible. Somehow only made number 4/5 on the NRL top tries list.

Nah, he tripped over a falling defender and luckily his momentum carried him forward enough to plant the ball down. Didn't see much contorting going on. Nice score, but never a try of the year.

Jeez you're difficult to please!

How about Sam Tomkins against Huddersfield at the DW? He tripped over one of his luminous yellow bootlaces on his own 60m line, but fortunately he just about had the momentum to stumble to the line



If nothing else, it wins try celebration of the year...

Quins 4th try at Wigan seemed like every quins player had a hand in it knocked the stuffing out of Wigan.

Was a cracking celebration.



Amos Roberts away at Castleford scored an absolute blinder, can't remember which of his tries that day it was though.

Not the best, but the most enjoyable of the year was Glenn Hall's vs Wigan.

The feeling was great, we were completely out of it and looked like we'd get a trouncing. That fightback was the highlight of a terrible season!
