yeh, rent for that area would be $800-1000 a week for a top apartment. That's a 1/3rd of his salary gone this year!
Having said that doubt there is any forwards in NRL on more than $300k a year

Doesn't sound like it. He was in one of Crowe's places for a short while with the rent being taken out of his salary. He's in his own place now according to his twitter even if he's locked himself out of it.  |

Outstanding player and person. Deserves every reward that comes his way. The lifestyle itself is worth any amount of money and he'll be most likely banking practically everything he earns.
Wish we could produce ten a year like Sam Burgess. |

From memory of the whole Harris saga Sam, don't you have to have a valid playing contract in order to hold a player's registration with the RFL?
Bradford might have something written into his release agreement that says they have first option on his return, but we've all seen what that is worth. |

Come on JB, you never heard of the "living away from home allowance?"
This means that he ex-pats lviing here on a temp residency visa of sorts will be taxed AFTER his rent is deducted.
Hasn't he moved out of Crowe's place a while ago now anyway? Check it out. |

makes you wonder, what would have stopped Rusty giving him a couple of hundred,000 whilst over in the UK and Sam sticking it in his UK or overseas account. Nobody would be the wiser and as said if he was asking for $400k (probably closer to what he could get in UK) it is doubtful he would have signed such a long deal for less than $300k.
