think so, i certainly got thrown some shoite about the magners league deal when i rang up to cancel in april, they didnæt even really try to convince me things with the nrl would get better, hopefully it'll last out till after UFC 100 in july.

Can I record it while I am at work, or can it be watched again?

And the quality I had the other day was far superior to Sultana that one person who pays for the privileged of Sultana ended up watching online

Before everybody gets carried away

There was a magnificent stream for State of Origin 1, one of the best i've seen.

Depends how you class poop as opposed to good stuff.

I have many friends in the South who consider RL poop but accept it has a place on Sky, but point out its considerably lower down the rankings of the Sky execs priorities compared with RU, despite viewing figures.

I also have friends who subscribe to Setanta as they show the Blue Square league. Their crowds are comparable with NL crowds so I thinks its all a matter of taste.

Setanta's problem is that they have tried to compete with Sky and are paying far too much for many of their attractions.

That said its Free with Virgin so I will miss it.

They should sell out to Sky!

Glad they've gone bust personally, can have NRL back rather than watching awful streams.

Also the Setanta News channel is the worst sports channel ever!

News Corp. didn't waste any time gloating about this one, though I agree that it isn't good a good scenario for some football clubs. Imagine the situation Super League would be in now if it switched to Setanta as many on RLFANS suggested when it arrived on the UK scene a couple of years ago.

Although the production quality of Setanta's own programmes is not on a par with its slicker counterparts, I think some of its shows are more insightful than those elsewhere. Whatever you think about Steve Bunce, his boxing hour is the best/only round up TV. The most excellent punmeister James Richardson is on fire at the moment. And it treats MMA as a reputable and reportable sport.

This is without mentioning the loss of the Australian rugby league shows and SoO & NRL coverage. I'm not confident that Sky will pick up what is left behind by Setanta bar the football coverage it is allowed to get on the cheap.
