| Quote loyalsince1904="loyalsince1904"1) Warn supporters that the ground was very cold unless you were sat in the sun. By the 3rd game I was shivering
2) Standardise ticket prices at £20/£10- you could go anywhere with any ticket
3) Maybe move it to the 2nd bank holiday in May? Weather may be a bit wamer
4) The cost of food + drink was horrific- £6 for burger + chips. £3.50 for 330ml of cider- cheaper vans are required
5) Start the sunday games at 11.30. Last train south was 8.45 from Haymarket/ 8pm if travelling back to Yorkshire/ Lancashire
6) The focus on the mascots was very OTT. They ran out before every game
I did think it was a very enjoyable day out on the whole.'"
Not a Bank holiday in Scotland ,,,,,,this is the one they give up to have the Extra one at New Year

| I was impressed with Edinburgh, but how big were the houses surrounding murrayfield? They were huge!
Anyway, what really annoyed me was the parking. I ended up driving 3 miles out and still saw cones in the road so I turned around and ended up catching lucky and parking on a road half a mile from the stadium.
Still, it needs decent parking for those travelling for the day via car.

| Quote UllFC="UllFC"you support a side that doesn't have a proper derby, so i don't expect you to understand. The hype that any derby generates in any of the RL towns which promotes the event even further and bigger crowds would have gone from Hull/Rovers, Leeds/Bradford and Cas/Wakefield IMO
and the football league playoffs are only 2 games on the saturday and the sunday, and neither of these generate a great amount of publicity. Last years league2 final was Stockport-Rochdale, do you really think the magic weekend can't steal some coverage from a game like that?
instead of it battling for coverage against a whole round of football league games, 8 premiership games, a ricky hatton fight, RU european semi final...'"
UllFC is spot on with his derby quote.
I could not personally in this economic climate, two weeks after a jont to Quins and Catalans 8 weeks away justify paying out to go watch Hull KR play Warrington yet if it was FC we were playing this weekend i would still do Quins and Catalans but there would have been no option on MM i would have been there if i had to rob a bank.

This is going to make me sound really thick - but I saw the signs for the P&R but couldn't actually find it. I resorted to using a Tom Tom to get me to the ground and then went from there.

Ah right. The one we used was at the airport. They should have given the postcodes for P&R's on the info to let people find them easily.

you would have driven right past it, over 1000 spaces at the airport (Ingleston) with a bus service right to the ground.

| Quote Glasgow Gal="Glasgow Gal"What more would you want done for the kids? There was stuff outside in the fanzone why wasn't that enough?
Also for getting away during the day what was wrong with using the normal shuttle buses? We never waited longer than 10/12 minutes for one which is impressive given how busy it is. Why would the RFL pay for more buses when there's a perfectly good service already running?
As for the weather, it's cold in the shade that's to be expected. The weather was also warm early on which makes it feel colder later on - nothing a jumper and jacket wouldn't solve though.'"
the fanzone area was ok but we was there for 10 hours and the fanzone area was nothing like enough to keep the kids entertained,a few inflatable games cant keep kids happy.

I must admit we were somewhat pi55ed off by the fact that we'd paid £50 for our tickets and once inside the ground they let people sit wherever they liked, so we ended up with people who'd paid for much lower grade tickets sitting where we were. Next year we'll be buying the cheapest possible tickets.
