| I watched the game again on iplayer in case what I saw live was illusion. It was not. To those idiots who said it was not a good game you clearly know bugger all about rugby league. I stand by what I said - one of the best finals in years. Catalans played ferociously and had 100 per cent completion first half. That's why Warrington panicked when they had their chances. That's why I likeneded it To GB v Oz - Warrington did not have the confidence to play their game when denied of time and space and fluffed their chances. Catalans were superb except for a spell between 60 and 70 odd mins when their efforts started to take their toll. I noticed John Kear, Peacock, Noble et al all thought it was a brilliant game of rugby league. It was.

Yeah, full of so many skillful players that we didn't know what was going to happen next.....GET A GRIP ! It ended up being a close game last 15 minutes....THAT IS ALL

I posted on here many times through the week that Catalan were going to do 'a Sheffield Eagles' on your side and it happened. I was spot on.
How was the 'homecoming' by the way?

It was a good competitive game but that was about it, probably a final that is soon forgotten because of its lack of quality and creativity.
The real excitement was in the last 15 mins as both teams fluctuated in energy levels.
A French team winning the trophy was the real positive.

You’re very easily pleased then.
Accusing others of not knowing anything about RL yet comparing that game to a GB vs Australia game
And shock horror commentators put a game over as great. Eddie and Co. do that most weeks and especially finals so must be true.

| I am not easily pleased. It was the best CC Final I have been to n years. Most have been dross despite what others call quality and creativity. Creativity in the British game is a euphemism for poor defence. Catalans gave it to Warrington and the latter's so called creativity was found wanting. It's not me that easily pleased it people who mistake lots of tries against inept defences as quality that are easily pleased.

| You only enjoyed it because an expansion team won. The game itself was physical & tough, bit like a 3rd rate NRL game. Hopefully the GRAND FINAL won't be as bad, and thank **** Catalans won't be there, with their 2900 fans !

I assume you didn't go in 2016 then? That was a much better final in terms of quality. Less points than Saturday but a game played to a much higher standard.
