| 137,524 attendance over tournament.
19,646 average over 7 games.
(22,921 av across 6 "match-days" with Auckland DH)
Like the RLWC 2008, imagine what it could have been with a little exposure...and the engagement of Australian NRL fans in particular.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| If you look at the sports we are very good at they all have a highly technical element too them - Cycling, motor racing, rowing - they require high degrees of technical/intellectual input - it is no surprise that the majority of F1 teams are based in the UK and that we lead the way in cycle design - are there any F1 teams in Australia - no - I wonder why?
Winning by whatever means is an mind set in Australia that is not the case here - if we win it is despite rather than because of it. Today was funny watching the Arrogant Aussies take a beating - not even with their own ref and their own field could they win - top day

You missed a bit. Like the thread.
Continue to try and sidetrack as much as you like.

What you know about me - and my knowledge of rugby league in Britain or elsewhere - would fit on the head of a small pin balancing on the head of a slightly larger one.

Because the money's not there? I agree. Without the international congestion and relatively small population that has to stretch resources across such a large and arid land, it's common sense. Plus someone from a certain nation racing a machine made by an international company means nothing in particular.
Our cyclists just trounced your lot at the Commonwealth Games.

That is a most unkind thing to call folk who've gone to the trouble of trying to estimate attendances...
