That's not correct. I've always classed them as a heartlands type club.

A Perpignan club was merged from two - XIII Catalan and Saint Estève. These have forever and a day been asscociated with Rugby League in my mind. I don't need any notion of Catalans success to slot that into my admittedly tiny brain.
