You'll be fine all premier need is a sky viewing card number to send their signal down. I have sky and premier but I did get rid of sky for two years and premier worked fine. I did have to contact premier when I renewed my sky to sky q as it came with a new viewing card, simple phone call sorted that out.

It was a stream of the Fox (?) coverage. It had exactly the same production values as Sky and I remember Andrew Voss at least commentating.

the game that's on main events is leeds/wigan which is also on arena at same time. The main event version is just the game without the talking before. Afaik all the main event games are just simulcasts of the regular SL games on arena/mix used to fill up main event channel when they don't have anything else to put on.

Has anybody else got problems with series links for the games since the channel changes? All of my series links disappeared, and now Super League won't series link at all, I've had to set all 3 to record separately.

Thanks for that. The reason I binned sky was not mainly the cost but in protest at missing so many games because they kept moving my clubs games to evening kick offs. (not a problem this year as we were relegated) at my age I am off to bed at 9 30pm not travelling 10 miles to watch a game.

So it's a channel that only shows simulcasts, which is only available if you already have all the other channels? Eh? Doesn't that make it completely redundant?

Just spoke to Sky and was extremely disappointed to hear that if I keep Cricket and RL ( the 'Action and arena' package ) my Sky Sports subcription cost goes down from £22.50 to £22! Even though I've ditched the super-expensive soccer. Fantastic saving of 50p per month!

I think, from what I can figure out, the difference is that on the Main Event channel it only shows the game and not all of the build up, after match interviews etc..

that's strange I had the full pack and when I changed it it went down to £18 for the action and arena channels and today I got a email to confirm it

I thought it was £18 for one channel, then an extra £4 for a second channel.
So to get SS Action and SS Arena, it would be £22?

Tbh even if it's £22 a month, I still don't see how people can gripe at it being too expensive considering you'll get at least 8 games of rugby for that each month.

If you subscribe to Movies and Box sets and also want sports before they changed it, you ended up with all sports for £18. Now you only get 1 package for that. Great way for Sky to make extra money.
