It's not a statue simply to commemorate a great RL player or moment - it's to commemorate RL's affinity with Wembley, and that by consequence means CC Finals, and Ashes or World Cup Tests held at Wembley.
Whoever or whatever it represents must be Wembley-related.
There are certain moments that stand out in the wider public memory, and there are certain players who made Wembley special for whatever reason. |

Absolutely not. I said nothing of the sort, and if you want to put forward Neil fox then that is your right and is a decent choice.
It was you who told people to put aside club biases and then nominated one of your own club. If people want to mention someone who made a decent contribution from their own club then that's their right too. Your statement was worth pointing out as a double standard.
Now you are furthering the problem by complaining about me doing the same to you when I did nothing of the sort. |
