The Kiwis 3rd win over the Roos in 5 years, whilst brilliant for the game in NZ, does not signal the start of League rivaling Union in New Zealand. Australians need to try to understand the global picture of sport, where League sits and the simple fact that Union is the bigger international and domestic code wherever the 2 meet, except in PNG and Australia.

Failure to comprehend this just shows up the idiots like Old Dear and Dull Messenger for what they are....narrow minded and bereft of any understanding of anything that isn't VB or Holdens

Not a feud...just them failing to undersatand that it isn't criminal to watch any sport other than League......and I agree, stats can be manipulated to suit.......I agree that the NRL gets more fans through the turnstiles than S14 does in Australia...only a fool would think that Union is a "bigger" sport than League in Australia and I have no doubt that the willy inaccurate TV viewing figures still show that the appetite for League in Australia is greater than that for Union..........problem is, I am also aware of the lie of the land iin: England, New Zealand, France and anywhere else the games go head to head.......something some of our little criminal cousins (no offence meant dunbar) have trouble getting to grips with

I suppose forums are like visits to the bathrooms. Producing a thread is akin to producing a pooh. On forums people admire and talk about pooh for a long time. It takes a couple of people to flush it down the toilet. This thread is now in the sewers.

Until NZRL get sorted out, the jnr game and amateur game is grown nationally in NZ, they get a 2nd NRL team and the NRL invests the millions it takes out of the country back into the country it will never, ever, have a hope of knocking over RU.

Saddest exhibition I've seen for a while.

As I said BEFORE THE GAME ON THE WEEKEND, Australia v New Zealand is as good as international sport gets.

Less than a point on average separating the teams across 11 tournament games.
