It's not a Wire love in, it's more to do with ASS108 and King Kev giving it large all year only for Saints to bottle it when it matters.

St.Helens do not exist.....Bless ! And just for clarification, I'm a Salford fan.  I don't like Wire, simples.... in the same way your lot don't like Saints. I've had plenty of dealings with arrogant Wire fans and I've worked with one as well. So yeah, I would have preferred Saints to win but I'm not losing too much sleep over it. And I stand by my comment about Wire being poop.... as a Salford fan I have no delusions about how Eartha Kitt we are..... but I'd go as far as saying that IF Wire win next Saturday they would be by far the worst team to have ever lifted the GF trophy. If you can think of a worse one, Fe free to let me know.

£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
