Unfortunately we struggle in the backs for quality, as was said before the tournament. I was flamed for daring to suggest Briscoe wasn't as good as people claim he is at the start of the season, and this performance has summed his talents up. Same goes for Yeaman. Although, I cannot see any English players coming through that can live with the Australian backs. Sheer class, a threat every time they get the ball.

Fantastic to see Lockyer score on his farewell. Without doubt one of the greatest rugby players I've ever had the pleasure of watching.
Different mind-set from the Aussies. They play basic rugby then once the opposition have settled into that they come up with something special. Endless patience from 1 to 17 which compared with our headless chicken approach looks so clinical and ruthless.

saying this was one of the weakest australian teams, they seemed to play like real champions, we looked like rabbit in the headlights and panicked far too often.

Once the result wasn't in doubt, you couldn't begrudge him that.

I was flamed for saying Briscoe was terrible returning the ball after game 1, accused of being biased, shouted down as being retarded. Told he had tons of line breaks - Turns out he had 1, the least in the england backs.

Same game I said I'd never seen anyone as slow as him. Told I was an idiot........ He was chased down the next game by SIMON MANNERING.

Briscoe is a myth. But don't let the rlfans here you say it, or they'll call a psychiatric doctor to your house

Briscoe & Yeaman aren't good enough, Sinfield & Jones-Buchanan made far too many mistakes and looked generally clueless.
