Not a patch on the cringeworthy "when the Bulls go charging in"

If you feel that patriotic, then join the army and become cannon fodder for the taliban.'"
I agree.
Ballbags always talk it up.

......leave him to it. If he paid attention he would see that the British Government didn't surrender and Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness are not now in Power in Northern Ireland with that other upstanding chap, the Very reverend Dr Ian Paisley
I suspect he still keeps an old video of the outstanding behaviour of the English soccer fans at Landsdown road in 2000, although he has probaly wiped the bit's off the news showing hundreds of them comming off the ferries having had 7 bells knocked out of them by An Garda Siochana
Lastly, I remember the brave English fans in Euro 88 who, if it hadn't been for the Kind reaction of the Irish fans when the Germans and Dutch had them cornered, would in all probability had their s posted back to the UK. The dutch and germans, whilst keen on having a scrap with the brits, were slightly more cautious about the 3,000 pi55ed micks who welcomed the terrified English with open arms (and empty wallets......I didn't pay for a dring for 3 days after that...very appreciative they were)

and leeds fans singing yorkshire, yorkshire.why?do they sing that at hull and bradford or just on the west side of the pennines?'"
Why would they sing it to Yorkshire clubs?
As it happens I don't like it either. Only ever really happens when things aren't going right. The 'Yorkshire' chant is usually followed shortly by a 'The Referee's a W@nker' chant when the Leeds defence completely disintegrates.

2460_1305860101.jpg Kiss me where the sun don't shine

| I always liked the LUFC song:
Forever and ever,
We'll follow our team,
We're leeds united,
We rule supreme,
We'll never be mastered,
By you, by you whoever b**tards,
We'll keep the white flag flying high!
However i did see the funny side that a white flag flying high is known to mean surrender.
MUFC have a lot of creative chants about their players. Was told like one guy writes them all.
As a Bulls fan i can't think of a chant that's not just a chant other clubs sing with slightly different wording.
I prefer songs that are positive towards the team rather than negative towards another team.
Always liked the good old "Wise men say...".

| Quote: chukabutt "Heres an Old Moronic classic for you mate that the English love singing
2 World Wars and World Cup
Seeing as the British (That would be the Scottish, English, Irish and Welsh) fought them wars, do you see where im going with this.
Also a bit Political that one aint it?
Oh rule Brittania, now wouldnt that be a song about when we freely went and raped and pillaged half the world? But you stick to your little known little minded IRA songs. As know doubt you have ever thought about what your singing about and just joined the flock.'"
And defended Western civilization in two world wars, killing a large proportion of the young male population and bankrupting the country in the process thus losing our status as a world power in deference to the USA. And I could mention a whole host of other things including the invention of democracy and the abolition of slavery.
Clearly you need to need to read a few books, Or maybe if this country is so offensive, bugger off and go somewhere else.

would it not make more sense just to chant the name of your team?after all chanting yorkshire is showing support for ALL clubs in yorkshire,or are you supporting the cricket team?

You my friend are exactly the kind of Ignorant idiot i am talking about, You no doubt sing the BRITISH National anthem with pride when ENGLAND play and see no irony in what your doing, sing about the 2 world wars that where faught by the BRITISH ARMYS not the English and offend 1000s of Welsh, Irish and Scottish and join in with age old songs about a Dutch Person (King William) aimed at the Irish.
As for your argument about Defending Western Civilization as far as i know GREAT BRITIAN where not the only country whom was involved in the defence of the FREE WORLD( I.E World War) and (This one is gonna irk you) If it were not for the USA we would have lost both wars like it or not.
As for your other points we can all pick out the parts of History we want to but again i state Rule Britania (in translation - Great Britain Rules) is another song the English sing as alot of them do not know/understand the difference between ENGLAND and GREAT BRITIAN.
As for my reading prowess please do not pretend to know anything about me as you do not.
We all know what an assumption makes.

Democracy was actually invented by the Greeks many, many years ago. Sorry I'm a geek.
