ha ha, you go on about us bringing up 1980 and you are wittering on about something that happened over a century ago!

I'm glad someone brought it up, that was my point. We are a merged club. But so are you. Hull fans don't bring up the merger, Rovers fans do (despite the fact that they are a merged club themselves).

The point I am making is the hypocrisy of forgetting about an event that happened so you can have a dig about the same thing at a rival club (because it happened a long time ago), yet the same set of fans will also bring up something else that happened a long time ago (granted not as long, but nearly a decade before I was born!) in order to have a dig.

There is just no consistancy with most Rovers fans (this happened a long time ago so doesn't count. But this counts even though it happened a long time ago).

Cooke is a fantastic player with a dreadful attitude, it's best not to confuse the two.

Paul Cooke is not a fantastic player, he is one that on his day strays in to being a good player, but that is far away from a fantastic player.

He has failings in his game (he is probably the worst running S-O in SL), he should be embarrassed about his fitness and an awful attitude,

a fantastic player would be at the top of his game for 5-6 years minimum, not the 6months that Paul Cooke has managed in his career

There's nothing wrong with his fitness atm, he has got himself into shape, he now lives in Huddersfield with his girlfriend. So he's away from Hull where he was going out getting hammered, this is no longer the case.
