Bless, your post has really upset us Leigh fans.
Whoever got the vote to be allowed in SL are bound to find it tough aren't they ? Championship clubs have been recruiting for the championship season in 2021, so all Leigh (or London) could have done for that matter is add 3 or 4 players knowing that you will be competing in Super League this year. |

It will be exciting to see if Leigh can hang in there.
Only five of the original 1996 SL clubs are still in Superleague, and plenty of clubs have gone up and survived on their own strengths, or conversely on the weaknesses of other clubs. Only recently Leigh got an 11th place when they were promoted, and London matched HKR for league points going down only on match points difference.
Every chance you'll be doing the upsetting!! Not sure how weak Leigh's recruitment has actually been, against say Wakey or HKR's squads and as we know it's about what happens on the pitch so if Leigh are in a determined mood and rivals aren't particularly motivated that can make all the difference. |
