For you, it's the first team.
I'm not claiming teams should be picked for SL solely on the basis of their U20s team results, why are you claiming it's solely on the first team results? |

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing

It probably is. However, you would hope most realise that in 21st century pro sport it takes more than getting a good set of 17 players to be a top flight club.
Yes, Northampton RL is the team I coach at. For those above reasons I've got an interest in Sheffield, St Helens and Quins, and have always paid some attention to both Leeds and Cas.....mainly Leeds. |

True, by the time July comes Widnes will have snapped up all the OOC players and Fax would have to sign most of the squad from the two clubs who were being dumped.

Fax are only there to give some weird credibility to the process , to make it an application process , rather than an elimination process , ie a funeral |

and if we use your own points of comparison the list goes -
attendances - at least double and often treble
turnover-easily superior
squad-manifestly more succesful
none of which sounds anything like 'sod all' to me.
try as hard as Toulouse will and good luck to them -its about as football and RU a town as its possible to be in france.
im all for the potential for growth. but i simply do not see how toulouse show that potential.
