The NRL have announced that Australian troops in Afghanistan will join Rugby League fans in more than 55 countries to watch the 2009 Telstra Premiership Grand Final between Melbourne and Parramatta.

I see it as a PPV of £3 per match. |

I've only just realised the clocks have changed in Australia so kick off is an hour earlier here at 7:15am.
It's pretty poor that ESPN have also not noticed this and have it still listed (on Sky anyway) from 7:30am when it should be 6:30am.
So those doing Sky+ are going to miss the first 15 minutes unless it updates in the next hour or two.

The Melbourne Storm have secured their place in history. 4 Grand Finals and 2 Premierships in 4 years is phenomenal in the modern era. They've surpassed the great Roosters team of 2002-2004. And they've still got their spine locked up for years to come. Scary.
Isn't Greg Inglis racking up quite a resume? 5 years in first grade. 4 Grand Finals, 2 Premierships, 4 Origin wins. No World Cup yet though.
EDIT: Oh dear. Just looking at the stats from the game, Hindmarsh made 64 tackles in what would've been the game of his life. I would love to see him win a Premiership before he retires. Hopefully this seasn puts him back in the rep scene. I was convinced he was rubbed out forever (never justified), but there's a bit of talk about him again, so here's hoping.
