| Hopefully the young winger pulls through. Don’t think anybody likes to hear of a young player suffering bad injurires or any for that matter.

That's a big statement vastman my luv
Although i'm not quite sure how much control you actually have over stopping this transfer ever occurring should the Rhinos come in for TJ that makes you so categorical to state that it has no chance of ever happening?
Perhaps you could elaborate on your influence on this matter luv

Luv the arrogance. You categorically say it will happen in your first post an equally big statement!
I catagorically say it won't happen and I have to explain myself. Its quite breathtaking in its own myopic way.

Their other young winger, Reece Chapman-Smith, who did have real pace has suffered a couple of serious injuries and the juries out on how that’ll affect his progress.'"
We haven't put faith in Ash Handley, he's just a backup winger and not sure he'll be at Leeds much longer than 2018.

You say Wakefield aren't a selling club anymore but there isn't any real evidence to back this up in terms of a big club coming in hard for one of your best players. Every player at ANY SL club has their price and all Johnstone's new contract means is that a potential buying club would have to splash out more. You can't honestly say Wakey would turn down ANY price, the question would be if any club is prepared to pay big money for Johnstone.

You really don't know what your talking about - so far we've blocked Warrington signing Jowitt - numerous clubs after Johnstone whilst Fifita was a big target for a number of SL clubs how much do you need.
Nobody can stop a player who wants to leave from leaving and that includes your mighty Leeds. We accept that. The difference now is that Wakefield are not actively looking to sell and where possible are matching what other clubs are offering within reason.
Yes we have limitations but we sure as hell make it difficult for the parasite clubs these days.

| I could see Johnstone in the NRL in a couple of years, certainly got the potential. Big couple of years for Wakey, the Chairman has done an unbelievable job, at the moment the players are happy, but will need to win something or least challenge (finals etc) to keep players like Johnstone at the club.

Keep hearing numerous teams after Johnstone but not heard of a big money offer being made. Apart from rumours that other teams have an INTEREST (not an actual offer). Fifita may have had a few teams interested in him, do we know who they were or what they offered?
So funny with Wakefield fans on here, if fans of other clubs aren't talking about their players or putting them down they get all touchy and want to tell us how good their squad is. If people praise their players they get worked up telling parasites to stay away from Wakefield players.

It would be surprising if you did, aren't deals done in private and then announced to the fans, as for transfer rumours they're usually instigated by newspapers wanting to sell papers, perhaps that's where you've heard all the "big money rumours" concerning Johnstone in order to create interest, only guessing though.

FTR Wire tried to buy Miller last year before they got Brown and were told no chance. Cas also tried to get Fifita off us after the end of the last season as well but was told no thanks.

MC has said a couple of times on Yorkshire Radio that he's nad numerous teams after Johnstone, especially at the end of 2016 but he's repeatedly said he'd be the last player he sells.

As for the first part, if peple were putting Leeds players down you'd be the first one on here to stick up for them, it's natural they're your team. It just seems that Wakey have more people either trolling or just underestimating. The second part is easy to understand, after what we went through for a few years. For example around 2010/11 we lost at least 5 players just to hudds. It seemed every season around that time we were having to buy in half a team because we'd lost players to other Clubs.

Given that Cas have signed a few Championship players including the prop area that should give some idea of the strength of their interest.
Wire were desperate after Sandow left and probably inquired about several players. With Wire's money do you honestly think they had "no chance" of getting him if they really wanted to or that he was their first choice ahead of Brown or others? Brown has struggled this year but I'd have gone for him over Miller.
Wakey owner tells some stories about turning down offers and Wakey fans lap it up assuming other clubs are coming in heavy for their players and gets the owner in the fans good books. Makes the owner look good in the fans eyes but the reality of the interest in Wakey players probably nowhere near as strong as they like to make out.

How do you not know that Fifita wasn't going to be Cas' one big signing but fell through?
None of us know what Wire offered for Miller so it's neither here or there but of course, if Wire chucked a load of money at Trinity they might have got him but all we know is they didn't. As for Brown over Miller, your opinion but they came after Miller first & I'd say Millers got a better game than Browns, especially in attack.
Oh, so MC telling stories live on Radio, do you think that's wise where he could get called out by the other Clubs. So basically, you make out he's telling porkies to appease fans. You believe what you want fella, you've obviously got the Trinity owner all worked out.

What evidence have you got that Miller was the first name on Warrington's list?
Cas haven't made any big money signings, so the reality is they don't have big money rather than a Wakey player was their only option for a big money signing. That Cad have signed Championship players should tell you they didn't have the money.
Other clubs probably aren't bothered by what your owner says on the radio. The big clubs are use to downplaying links to players as it happens so often.
Wakey fans drinking the owners KoolAid convincing themselves that bigger and better clubs are desperate for their players. It's laughable.
