One ensured the survival of the club at Superleague level.
The other let you stand out of the rain for a few months before the council condemned the ground.

This has to be a joke right. The RFL loaned Wakey the money subject to the Chairman and his fellow Director putting their own homes up as security and are taking it back out of our sky money. A bit different to a secret loan of over a million quid plus whatever other financial assistance the Bulls have undoubtedly been given but is not common knowledge.
As for the overpriced bus shelters comment, we now have three areas (not including the hospitality area) within our ground where you can shelter from the elements. Unless something has drastically changed the Bulls have one.
You need to face facts, Bradford have had their time at the top end of the table, and over stretched yourselves in trying to stay there and whether you like it or not, have now found your true level as a lower table team who every now and again may turn over one of the big teams and/or make the play offs for one round.

| Just as an aside.
With Wakefield having had to release players to ease the salary burdon and transfer fees to assist cash flow why on earth have they aquired a "consultant/chief executive"?
What a waste of money that is! That cash should be spent surely on ground improvements and if possible a signing or two to strengthen the squad?
My own club Wigan haven't had a Chief Exec for years and it hasn't stopped their progress. Lenagan obviously feels it is an expense they do not need to make.
I do hope Wakefield can spend their money more wisely than on a CEO!

So secured RFL loans are good when Wakefield need cash, but very, very bad when other clubs are in the same situation?
I don’t suppose you have proof of your other accusation?

Aye, t’was a bit of a cheap shot. Thing is tho, the £500K along with Tim Smiths wages, may have been better spent ensuring the fabric of B.V was in better condition...maybe your club could’ve avoided the long list of CCJ’s and winding up orders which led to you needing to ask for RFL assistance in 2013.
Hindsight, ay.

But I’ve not suggested otherwise...have I?

We had a CEO. He was "poor". We got rid.
We got Kath in on a consultancy basis. She is good.

Bradford are years away from making the play offs again, one round or not.

The amounts involved were totally different and the lease to odsal gets the RFL a relatively small re payment of the debt each year it will take years for the RFL to get their money back if they ever achieve it
We said in our application we would provide more covered areas and we honoured that obligation.
We said we needed to save money to stay afloat and our chairman set about dismantling the squad we could not afford and paying off creditors. Pity the bulls could not do the same

| Quote: Bull Mania "Surely it would be better going into admin last year when there was no relegation. Fans like you make me laugh, everyone's against poor Wakefields like they've never broken the rules. Again you got a license as your promised to do up yor stadium. It is no longer safe and not fit for purpose but this time you PROMISE work will get done on it. Some of you were even moaning you got Salford first up in the fixture list!!!
There are NO rules that say if a club go into admin they will be relegated. You might as well as for 10 points if you beat Wigan and 1 point for beating London.
No club as been relegated from SL when into admin. The RFL have been consistent in handing points deductions!
But don't let that stop your vendetta!
Good luck with the stadium, maybe this time the work you've always promised will get done. Convenient it's after licensing ends! Maybe instead of paying for a squad you could afford last year you should have made sure your ground was safe!
Sorry for biting to the genuine level headed Wakefield fans out there. Who agree that Bradford should be deducted points. It's those that want a club dead that annoy me!'"
because I don't agree to the rest of the fans I'm not level headed,
I'm not surprised you would spit the dumpy out at my response but I'm not going to be two face when I stated this on our site as its just my opinion. you've had my support in the past and it now just come to a halt and why, because my earlier post which has upset you.
I'm not going to ranting on again on how your club has been molly coddled in the last few seasons but its now dog eat dog world out there.
Just sit back and think what's going to happen to the two that do go down and you tell honestly that your not crapping your self that Bradford go down.
Bradford I'm sorry to tell you are not the big club you used to be so sooner you come to terms with that the better.
Our club is far from squeaky clean as far from the stadium issues as are a few other clubs too (just be careful I don't come with a tape measure to odsal )
Belle Vue's problems is not as serious as you might think but there are regulations and we have to correct them.
I personally will be doing some of the alterations because its my trade and I don't cut and shut, so yes they will be done and correctly to H/S standards or they won't pass.
and I heighted a bit here I thought that was funny coming from your club

| I don't think we're a "big" club anymore: in fact I don't think any fans do. Our main objective is to avoid relegation. Not one fanis thinking about the play-offs. Even before we get deducted points it was all about survival. Any one from 6 teams can go down. It's going to be an almighty scrap ad more difficult with out (deserved) points deduction

Interestingly enough, the Wakefield Chairman has just been on Radio Leeds during which he noted what Kath Hetherington has brought to the business, in the process highlighting the Lenegan myth that successful businessmen know instinctively how to run RL clubs. Having someone who knows the specific ins and outs of a particularly odd business model and who has a long contact list in the small RL community of often unusual people is a vast benefit. Perhaps Lenegan's lack of anyone in this position explains Wigan's apparent disproportionate lack of influence amongst their peers and their difficulties in getting a decent sponsor?

| And still the actual game on the field is being ignored.
There seems to be a strange obsession with anything that is not part of the key reason for the game to exist.
