Quote: Fantastic Mr Catpiss "Charnleys a decent winger, a pretty good finisher, who happens to be very very very fortunate he plays on the right wing at wigan, against teams that poop them selves because they can't defend against wigan's one set play and also dont know how to defend against sam tomkins in this set play as well.
If you use your eyes watching wigan matches, and then a little bit of common sense, charnley and tomkins being 1 and 2 in the try scoring charts is somewhat skewed.
As i say, england wont be playing hull kr and wont be playing wakefield, they'll be playing NZ and Australia who'll defend a gazillion times better than SL sides, him being top try scorer won't be worth diddly.'"
You're absolutely right, they will defend a lot better, in which case McGilvray really will be in trouble wont he? Charnley scores an awful lot of tries that he creates himself, he's incredibly quick, good defender and a good side step. I would much rather go into the world cup with Charnley outside Cudjoe, exploiting the space made for him than McGilvray. Id rather see Lineham outside of Cudjoe than McGilvray to be honest. It sounds like I'm having a charnley love in, truth be told I cant stand the little lover. But he has to be a shoe in for one wing spot, probably Hall the other.
