The point is ' thicko ' [ I use this for effect ] that just because a town is the same size as another does not mean it should be a successful at a particular sport does it

You seem to be advocating a scenario where the ability for clubs to compete is restricted by handing even more competitive advantage to a small number of teams, thus making it more difficult for the lesser (at the moment) clubs, to do just that.

Maybe if they build enough models it will all be okay.
