The packs were both dire, so many unforced errors from both teams. The game had almost no redeeming features. Hull KR barely deserving winners in a game which wouldn't have looked out of place in league 1

I must have watched a different game? Few Wakey fans on here say they get no credit when turning over pre game favourites but you are doing same thing. Winter conditions dictated a low scoring game and we came out just on right side of it.After recent capitulations our efforts in defence more so than attack really was an improvement. You can spin it all you want but if Johnstones try had been legit then you would be saying sometimes you have to win ugly? It cant be champagne rugby like last week at Leeds for you all the time

Thought both packs grafted well, but attacking play was thoroughly negative from both teams. It was like both teams had decided it was going to be a slog and played to the script. Either side could have won it. Had Johnstone not been deemed in touch, Wakefield win. In the end, it was KR who took the points with a scrappy try from a similar kick to the wing.

I said Wakey were an average side and got slated for it. Results like this suggest I am correct.

I have no problem with Wakey as a team or the fans you meet home and away but some on here want it both ways. Can't knock last few seasons and they entertain when on Sky but today's game was a slog in heavy conditions that became a battle down the middle. Our lads stood up to them in the pack and Oakes the young winger who hasn't played for good while took every kick Brough bombed him with. Drinkwater kicked well and McGuire despite another yellow for dissent was good and as often v Wakey was the match winner. Personally I thought the game was exciting in an old fashioned way

I'm not saying KR shouldn't be happy for taking home the points, I'm saying that that was a VERY low rate game which the conditions can only take some of the blame for. Neither team looked good for the win, defensively they were both average, but it seemed like that was more through a lack of attacking prowess from both teams rather than great defense.

Average would be an improvement

Wakey are far better than average in this league and will in my opinion make the top five . But if you want to call them average then so are Saints , Wire, Cas and Hull who will probably make up the other four play off teams with a below average Wigan team in sixth

What? Saints, Wire and Cas are all comfortably better than Wakefield and when Hull have a fully fit side so are they. Wakefield’s only good performance so far was against Leeds. Apart from they haven’t played well. It wouldn’t be a massive shock if Salford were to finish above them.

Didn't they only miss out on beating saints by the odd score?
