What are you on about ? Widnes are an English RL side, which other country do you suggest that they play their games in.
Just be grateful that the RFL allow overseas sides in our competition, all because the rest of England (apart from the M62 corridor) have no interest in our great game.

I'd much prefer the better side to be promoted, rather than contenders being "selected" for their TV "influence".
Toulouse is a great little ground and a decent RL set up and i'd take Toulouse over Toronto at a heartbeat.
They are a proper RL side, supported by "local" players and not just a team of mercenaries.

Featherstone Rovers, staffed with three (3) PNG stars -- the Boas brothers and Thomson Teteh -- thrashed Batley Bulldogs 42-14

Barrow Raiders, the former club of distinguished French international Frederick Zitter, and now staffed with three outstanding PNG players, lost narrowly to Sheffield Eagles -- a club that used to be famous for PNG star Menzie Yere and Mark Mexico. The PNG stars got among the scorers though, with sensational Stargroth Amean bagging two tries and wonderful Wartovo Puara Jr. one. Of the PNG stars only world wise William Minoga missed out on registering a score.
