We had poor attendances for the last few years. Wire and Wigan in the last two finals brought well under 20,000
Who cares how many they bring. They deserve their spot and could actually win It!

Doesn't the other code have finals in different countries? I am sure Spain recently hosted a final Between and Irish and Parisian side and got 52k......if we can't match that then we may as well pack up....

Wembley is a third empty now for the final anyway Catalans were excellent today they really wanted it there poor early season form must have been down to the majority of the team been in the World Cup

Not an exspansionist by nature but was this thread really required? Catalan deserve to be there and I think their fans will turn out in numbers. Catalan are a lot more established now and far less of a curiosity even in France.
It will be fine and I’m afraid it just makes you sound bitter. |

Salford, Widnes and Wakefield would all take fewer fans to a final than Catalans, should we stop those clubs competing in any RL competitions with a final?

You just plucked that figure from thin air.
Both sets of fans are offered 32500 tickets for the CC final and the Wigan-Hull attendance was 68525 and the Wire-Hull attendance was 76325.
Wire sold 11500 tickets after three days of sales and 20000 after a week in 2016, by the time of the day of the game we’d sold around 28000 through club and RFL allocation. Which would add up right with say 35000 Hull fans (spilling into Club Wembley and neutrals areas as well) with 12000 neutrals. |

Now you are being silly. Let's just wait till 25th August shall we ? Hopefully they might bring over 500 fans....but I bet there will be more Leeds Rhinos supporters there !  |
