I thought they'd done it but did say going for the two at the end was dangerous, should have never left it down to a kick from the touchline to snatch a draw!

First half was diabolical by the Bulls but classy second half with some good rugby.

always thought York as a RL city was/is untapped potential. always had a strong amateur base, plenty of RL fans in the city who support Leeds Hull etr. Shame they have never been able to get it together. Hopefully the new sports stadium and some stability will get them into being a solid championship side, maybe 10-15 years even the top flight.

In some ways I’m sorry to see them leave Bootham Crescent as it’s walking distance from some great pubs. I hope when they’re in the new stadium they think about publicising the transport links to the city centre so that fans can still have the day in York itself before going to the rugby.

If the move guarantees the club’s future – as it does for the football team – then fair enough. Here’s hoping they kick on.

I'm fairly sure that Toronto had a few 7k crowds in League 1 last year mate. Its still a cracking crowd nonetheless!

It was a fantastic game to watch, I watched it on the Proper Sport live stream. I think there should be a decent future for Rugby League in York and they seem to be heading in the right direction. I do have a softspot for them though as York U11's was my first club outside school, back in the Clarence Street days.
