And the NRL deal still for the UK is still in the air, certainly for us punters anyhow so you never know.

Hi just as an update I have phoned Premier this morning and they confirmed they have lost the rights. So I said I signed up to watch the NRL only, they first off offered me Toronto (after last season I would rather stick pins in my eyes) I politely refused, so they said they will not renew my subscription NEXT YEAR, I was less polite not rude but I made it clear I wanted my money back. After consulting with a supervisor they said they would charge me in January but are cutting me off instantly, I was going to argue that I should be allowed use until my payment period ends but as there is nothing else of interest to me on premier I let it go.

At present my Premier player has gone already but the TV is still operational.

So in summary I am supposed to be getting around half my money back in around 28 days.

If Sky get the rights I really can't see them broadcasting every single match like Premier used to do.
Frustrating as I would quite like to see how Toronto go next season but I'm not sure it's worth the subscription just for that alone.

Yeah I think sky would show friday, Saturday and Sunday games. 3 per week isn't too bad although could be better.

Nowhere near as good as getting every game live on Premier though, think we were probably spoilt.
Shame they weren't prepared to carry on for us NRL junkies.

Watchnrl is only available outside Oz, NZ and the ...nesias - certainly worth a shot.

They won't be allow to sign them all. They are not going to launch watchnrl.com then give all the games to TV anyway (Fox who run the app have the right to offer games to TV on uk market not nrl).

It'll be similar to Aussie rules who have all games and the fox afl channel on watchafl.com.au with three games on TV via bt sport.

I Expect Sky to get the Channel 9 games but with Fox commentary/studio instead of Ray Warren etc.
