I understand that Cummings may be talking about the rule but to disallow that would seriously be against the spirit of the game. Both went up for the ball, Percival was stronger in the contest and reaped the reward - simple as.

As a Wigan fan I see where you are coming from with this. 2 players competed for a kick and Percival came out on top. If that had been disallowed against my team I would have been furious.

I can see where Cummings is coming from, if you wanted to be pedantic and overly technical you could argue that Tierney caught the ball and it was stolen in the air but for me comment sense says the correct decision was made.

I have to say credit to both teams for offering up a fantastic game of rugby, though dissapointed I'm proud of the effort and performance of my side.

Morgan Escare, after his oustanding 10 week or thereabouts run at full back, may well be the coach's first choice at full back. Samuel Tomkins may be slotted into the halves with George Williams in 2018.

I can see where you are coming from but it's no more against the spirit of the game than the 10m infringement rule. And if there are rules that aren't in the spirit of the game then we need to change them not ignore them.

Cracking game that - very intense; although to hear Cummins at the end begging for a brilliant try to be disallowed was disappointing. Even Phil Clarke was calling for it to be given - and he can hardly be called partisan when Wigan are involved.

It was embarrassing to listen to! When are they gonna get rid of that clown Cummins? From a neutrals point of view that was a great game to watch, and as much as it pains me to say it you just have to give the Wigan club credit for their youth system. Those lads are a credit to the club and should hold their heads high.
