You took the least you'd ever taken to a magic weekend. Certainly a lot less than you'll be taking to the guaranteed win against the bulls. Good to see that better numbers are following you away in the championship than did in SL but I guess that's what happens when you know you'll win rather than knowing you're going to lose |

The fact is also it's not a bank holiday and families will struggle with kids being at school the day after
Our coaches will only get back to Leigh after twelve
Same for all the Lancashire and Yorkshire clubs
In Manchester it's easier to get home it a decent time
Hence why they should have had the bank holiday weekend

Just discussed this elsewhere as the OP's post has been flagged.
Leigh will take more fans to Newcastle than Catalans, Huddersfield, Salford, Wakefield & Widnes !
So from 12 SL Clubs, Leigh will be the 7th best supported Club, that despite being one of the smallest towns by population.
To sum up this thread, Leigh = S.C.A.P.E.G.O.A.T !!!
Let's look at those 5 'established' SL Clubs instead. |

I suggest that if they take 200 we will be blessed, this for an 'established' SL Club given preferential support for 6 years to become established.

I'm sure the stadium would've been available next weekend. Difference this year is that we're having another weekend of two games with teams playing on Friday and then the Bank Holiday Monday next weekend to prevent the season lasting a week longer with the World Cup coming up afterwards. Obviously can only do a double weekend on a Bank Holiday Monday so Magic Weekend had to move. That sole reason I think is why numbers will be down especially the Sunday. |
