| Whoever goes down needs to be prepared to stay in Championship for a while. It's difficult to bounce straight back up.
This whole system was designed to make sure championship clubs didn't go up. Leigh have done the unthinkable and I'm really pleased for them.
It's great to see the best championship club get what they deserve and that it superleague football next season.
Whoever goes down deserves to be where they are.

| Quote Him="Him"I think Hull KR would be the biggest loss to the sport from those 3 and probably cause the most damage if they were relegated.
I think Huddersfield would come back strongly as would Salford if Koukash stayed.
So by that logic I "hope" it's Huddersfield. Not that I hope any team goes down just that I think they're probably the best placed to deal with it.
Nor do I, before any Leigh fans get their knickers in a twist, hope that Leigh don't get promoted.'"
Hull KR go down and it causes damage? WTF! Cliched clap trap.

| I wouldnt assume Leigh are up yet, beat batley and lose to Leeds and Hudds and they have 10pts.
Leeds beat Batley and Leigh and they have 12
Hudds beat Leigh and Leeds they have 10
HKR beat London Fev and Hudds and they have 10
HKR have about 20pts better PD than Leigh, Hudds about 60. Even if Leigh did a real number on Batley, they need to keep it very close to leeds and hudds to have a chance of a better PD than either HKR or Hudds.

| Leigh are by no means "up" yet. They could still very easily slip into the MPG.
I think the side least valuable to SL is Salford. Therefore, I hope it's them.
Still time for London to cause a shock as well...

Ratchford and myler are so long ago now they don't really count as recent. It'd be like Leeds counting the likes of Watkins and Mcshane when listing recent academy graduates.
Also Myler started at Widnes didn't he? Played a couple of games for them before signing for Salford. I'll admit I totally forgot about Sneyd.

| Well as a Hull fan, I'd quite enjoy seeing Hull KR lose the MPG, but the feeling would soon wear off. I'd miss the rivalry, and it would probably harm our finances since our biggest gate of the season will be gone. On the plus side it might see the joint academy idea get scrapped, but I'd rather they were still here than not. Even away from Hull, I think they bring more to the comp than the other two.
Of the three I think Salford would be the most vulnerable if they went down. I'm not sure how long they would survive. Whereas KR and Hudds have a little more stability, and would be capable of bouncing back. The last thing the sport needs is another club going under, so I hope Salford stay up.
So I guess that leaves Hudds. Nothing against them at all, I wouldn't enjoy seeing them relegated, but it's probably the lesser of three evils.

| I'd get rid of Hull KR. Simply because the other two are easier away games to get to.

I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest that being relegated damages that club. Do you?

| If someone goes down id like it to be Salford, they are the least sustainable club, Koukash has already stated he is thinking about walking out, someone else may as well have their super league place.

| Quote nottinghamtiger="nottinghamtiger"From a selfish point of view I'd like to keep Hull KR as they bring by far the most away supporters of the three and therefore more money into my club.
Salford would have avoided this if their imbecile of an owner hadn't broken the rules. For this reason, I'll have qualms if they go down.
Huddersfield finished bottom of the SL pile, so I wouldn't have any issues if they went.
Having experienced relegation (once in a very similar manner on the last game of the season) I will feel sympathy for the fans of whichever club is relegated. Thankfully our fan base was large and committed enough to keep us full time and get back into SL. I'm not sure that will be the case at Salford or Huddersfield.'"
huddersfield have suffered relegation in the past, the supporter were committed and we won promotion again.
whether ken davy decides to continue to bank roll the club is another thing all together, salford and hudds could disappear all together

Good point. But i do think if Leeds are confirmed safe by the last game, which should be the case, we may rest a few and the there is likely to also be an 'on the beach' attitude from a few of the players where for Leigh they would be pumped so it may be slightly easier for them than it may have been.
