| Who chooses the Kick off times?? absolute joke with the Wigan Cas game. If England win group in Euros. Bog chance. It kicks off around same time as the Rugby. Ratings and crowds will be low. Shocking decision again.

| Quote JEAN CAPDOUZE="JEAN CAPDOUZE"Catalans in place of Hull will make possible a more interesting final. If the final would be Wigan vs Catalans, then Wembley would be full to the rafters with Yorkshire residents wishing to see Catalans win a piece of the pie.

Of course it would...a stadium 3/4 full of neutral supporters who aint particularly fussed about who wins versus a stadium with 30000 vociferous Hull fans adding to the amazing atmosphere...

Wigan will bring 25,000 vociferous fans, and they and the very fussed St Helens, Warrington and Yorkshire fans, along with the 3-5,000 French fans who can afford the trip, will make one hell of a great atmosphere at Wembley. I would imagine that it would create one of the most noisy and jovial crowds ever assembled at Wembley.

Yes it would. I was in attendance at Wembley in 2007, when the Catalans Dragons brought a record crowd to the New Wembley --- the biggest rugby league crowd ever seen at the New Wembley.
That was before Catalans had become the powerhouse team that they are now.
People will flock to Wembley to see David Taylor, Todd Carney, Anthony Gigot and Eloi Pelissier performing at the heights of rugby league excellence.

I was there too as a neutral (it's 45 mins by car to Wembley for me) and can tell you the Catalans fans in attendance did not 'bring' a record number.
Fans generally turn out for the final, the only reason there was a big attendance and indeed by the club wembley dwbenture hokders is because it was the first final since the new wembley had being finished.
Catalans in the final would be a disastrous situation IMHO.
