| did Eddie really just say Bradford are a super league team off the field?
he does realize that the reason that they are in the championship is because they were an absolute shambles OFF the pitch and various owners/chairmen couldn't run a brothel in a prison!

| Quote meast="meast"agree about the ref's mic, do we really need to hear them shouting and bawling for 80 minutes?
the only time we do want to hear them, when they are talking to the players or captains the SKY lot are babbling over the top of him!'"
Apparently, we do.

Won't bother me in the slightest. I won't hear his inane shouting from my seat in the stadium.

Yes. Best ref in the UK and people still find things to moan about.

| Quote Him="Him"Why in gods name did Sky show 3 slow motion replays of Owen's injury? We knew the first time it was a lower leg or ankle injury. We also knew he was in extreme pain. What exactly were Sky looking for? The exact point the poor sod broke his ankle (or whatever he's done)?'"
Double fracture of his lower leg, similar to the injury he sustained on his other leg a few years ago, spookily also against Bradford

The people who previously ran the club like a circus (putting it politely) are no longer part of the cluB.
Off the field, we are run like an SL team. Marc Green, Rob Parker, Steve Ferres are doing a great job.
Unfortunately ON the field, we are like a league 1 side
Truly awful today and feel embarrassed that was broadcast on TV.

Agh feel for the lad. You could tell it was something very bad because RL players generally don't cry out in pain like that.
Hope he sticks with it and the club and his mates rally round and look after him.
As for Sky it just annoyed me how many times they were showing replays. I may be wrong but it just seemed a bit voyeuristic, as if they were desperately searching for the money shot so to speak.
I think one replay where it was obvious it would be a lower leg injury would've sufficed.

| Sky have some sick fascination with showing replays of serious/potentially serious injuries.
The slow mo replay of Gareth Ellis' Achilles rupturing & the multiple replays of Owen today are just 2 recent examples. (Didn't see the Leeds game but I'm guessing they kept replaying Achurch's injury?)

I found this one the worst of the lot because we knew from Owen's reaction that it was very serious, and as you say, looking back at it again whilst knowing that is a sick fascination with wanting to watch someone's serious injury.
