I agree and that's why he deserves to be banned, but people are going way over the top with the amount of games he should be banned.

Just watched the Elima incident more or less the exact same incident as Sneyds, so I'd expect Sneyd to get slightly less as he has a much better record than Elima.

I can't find how many matches he got though.

Should be a 10 match minimum ban. There's no reason for performing that act other than to cause pain and injury. There's no place for that sh|thouse cowardice in our sport.

It was the same type of tackle, it was just unfortunate that for whatever reason (bad luck or previous injuries) that it McGuire has come off worst than Heremia did.

Just read the disciplinary guidelines and it has to be down as a grade A-D, so even at the top end it will be a 3-5 match ban, you were also right that they take into account injury so it could be 4/5 matchs.

Elima made 1 movement didn't he? Sneyd makes 2 clear twists.

Do it once then yeah, we can say it's a part of the tackle and it's gone wrong, do it a 2nd time and you're moving into deliberate territory.
