I have long been arguing that Belle Vue was a dangerous place, ever since I tried to use the men's "toilets" there.

France would never tolerate such an awful place. If it had been located in France, its owners/administrators would have been prosecuted long ago for maintaining such a shameful facility. Belle Vue is a Dickensian blight on the British ambition to be considered a modern nation.

They must be fairly significant issues considering they are doubtful it can be sorted by mid-April, and asking for "all hands on deck".

You could pretty much build a new stand in those timescales, so doubtful that it is just stuff like safety barriers. Sounds like fairly fundamental improvements to the entire stadium to me.

There are the same number of barriers that there were under last years safety certificate. If I had to guess I would say the concrete terracing may be unsafe/in need of repair.

I feel I need a tetanus shot just from looking at Belle Vue.
