I have received a Tweet from the Dalai Lama saying he is taking the request for London's expulsion under advisement from Pak Pong-ju who apparently is a big St Helens fan with a soft spot for Leigh Centurions.
Alternatively....I suspect we will know more about the make up of SL XIX after the RFL meeting scheduled for October 9th. |

In recognition of the higher living costs for London Broncos players due to their location a 10% London cost of living weighting allowance is applied to the Club’s maximum aggregate First Tier Liability (£1.65m in 2013) is available in addition to the Elite Representative Squad dispensation, subject to the combined value of both allowances being capped at the 10% weighting allowance.

I rent out one of my properties, a 1 bedroom maisonette in Brentford beside a busy railway line for ₤1,365 pcm. Brentford, we have been told isn't a very nice area and is a minimum of 35 minutes away from the centre of London by public transport or an hour by car in rush hour.
A quick glance at the property market up north shows this

My little flat in dingy Brentford commands twice the rent a flat in dockside Hull, yet the RFL reckon London is 10% more expensive

I think you'll find that when the current licences were issued the RFL said that they could be revoked early if the clubs didn't meet the criteria. Given all that's happened with us, Bradford etc. since then, I suspect it's been quietly forgotten about  |

Strictly speaking your flat is about half the cost of the one in Hull, given that you're pricing pcm and the Hull flat is pw. Having said that a fully serviced docklands flat in London would be considerably more than the one in Hull. So your underlying point is sound even if the example isn't. |

All other points aside, if we don't actually have a squad or a ground, the RFL won't really need to revoke our license, we can't really invite the other teams round for a game down the local park against whoever we can rope in off the streets that day.
