You might have a point if there were teams who could step up and do what Huddersfield are doing in a similar way or better. There are not so the standing inside or outside the sport matters not a jot and the fact Giants are probably 7th or 8th in the average gates in SL is more a reflection of the state of the game than the state of Huddersfield Giants.

With an average attendance better than 5 or 6 SL clubs, think you are targetting the wrong club or is it you are worried a club like Giants will beat you to the league or cup and the shame you would feel if they did.

You're right they also are pretty much a joke, but their also not claiming to be one of the top sides either.

Huddersfield do not claim anything, the league table is not lying and the "big" clubs do not like it that they could miss out on big prizes to a club like Giants.....in other words a team that plays great rugby and does not really care what those outside of it think about them.

Neither do the trophy cabinets. They can not care all they like if they can only continue to attract poor crowds like that they will not stay financially viable.

When that day comes come back and say told you so until then what do you care it seems people have such a desire for failure and they do not appreciate what is going on around them and surely it is better for "smaller" teams to be competitive and not roll over to let the big 4 dominate everything.
