| We either need a second French SL team or to make French players exempt from cap. It would be massive for the game to have a good French side. There are loads of Kiwis playing NRL

Yes but there's no incentive to take them over journeymen from the southern hemisphere!

| on holiday in france about thirty years ago, i went into a cafe it had loads of rugby memorabilia i assumed Union but to my pleasant surprise it was league. perpigon area is a real rugby league area and its great for league in general that they are doing well (and playing great rugby) another super league team in France would help development over there. It would be better to have a promising young french kid than a past it aussie playing here.

| A friend of mine said that he believes in years to come (long long term) that the French will be better than England, and will regularly beat them and be the 3rd most formidable international team. I doubted it, but from small acorns and all that...
Well done to the French lads, a positive step towards a stronger future international game.

Either way it doesn't matter if they are signed up as youngsters, as Salford have done with Theo Fages who is already pushing for the first team at 17 years old.

| Problem we've got is SL clubs still have this myth that if you from NZ or OZ, you automatically good at RL. Prime example, Marc Herbert with the Bulls last year. Why didn't we try take a punt on a french half back?
