| Quote Sheldon="Sheldon"Why would a rugby league fan laugh about this?'"
Unfortunately, Rugby League has a significant number of people who are fans of Rugby League clubs but not the sport itself. Anybody, at any level of the sport, who takes some kind of satisfaction out of the difficulties another club faces is an idiot. Although, I fear too much of an idiot to ever realise it

| Quote fatbaztod100="fatbaztod100"And Huddersfield v Salford had under 7k. How many of those ppl who attended were away fans? We all know that London have the smallest number of suporters. Realistically if that attendance was over 2k then I'm sure everyone at the Broncos would have been eggstatic.'"

I think Salford were the 88...I certainly thought that it was the smallest travelling support Salford had ever brought over to us, and probably the smallest apart from London and Les Cats
Maybe they all went to Bradford? Or stayed in to watch the Saints v Wigan derby?

| Quote Is it really embarrassing the sport? Do people really scours attendance figures above anything else.
'"
Yes, it does embarrass our sport. Work in an office with a few rugby union fans and you will find that they love pointing out the crowd.
London should not be in super league and as a Hull fan travelling to matches the atmosphere at somewhere like Castleford, which last week was fantastic, can win over people to follow the sport, but seeing an empty ground like at London on Sky last week makes people think the game is a joke and of no interest to anybody. Unfortunately the morons who run our game would probably sooner get rid of Cas than London.

| You try getting to SW London for an 8.00 game after work. Thursday evening was such a stupid time to play this game.

Great for anyone working in London though. There are even more trains to Twickenham than on a weekend. I really don't see where the delays occur unless you are driving to the game from well outside of London. I was in the Wetherspoons by 18.30.

The M25 at rush hour on Easter Thursday? You try it. 2 hrs minimum from Harpenden.

This. If you want to go to a game after work and it's more feasable to get there from work on the train instead of driving, then go to work via the train (or cadge a lift in off someone). Not hard.

'this'
My personal circumstances aside our fans are spread all over S.E. so it was still a stupid time and day to play.

| Everyone knew there were going to be even less spectators at this one than London normally get but even so....VERY poor effort.
The problem is even if it was home fixture on a saturday evening against a big team like Wigan the crowd wouldn't be a whole lot better.
