Wouldn't like to be the person making that decision. All the names mentioned deserve their place, Shaun Edwards, Clive Sullivan, Robbie Paul, Trevor Foster, Mike Gregory all deserve a place. You could have RL players all the way round the stadium and still have players missing who deserve to have a place.
I personally would choose Lance Todd. Most RL fans know the name, but don't have an image of Lance Todd.
Or maybe, to save arguments, have the a statue of the famous old trophy?
Either way the RFL should be congratulated for organising this,

Needs to be a player recognised both domestically and Internationally. Someone that has been given an MBE or knighthood but not sure who has? On the field Hanley would have been a good one but too many wrong doings off the pitch will count him out.

I'm going to risk a hiding here but Lance Todd would be a poor selection. He's already significantly commemorated and theres more to Rugby League than 1 bloke. A significant percentage of RL fans wouldn't even know why he is such a legend of the sport.
