I keep thinking what our 17 will be and for the first time in a very long time i've got too many outside backs in my mind instead of having to scrape around thinking of some. One day I want Hall and BJB on the wings and the next I want Briscoe and Atkins (think he'd go great on the wing at international level).

I doubt McNamara will leave his old faves out like Shenton, JJB and Wilkin but if he named a squad like that theres a danger i'd actually think we have a future as an international side. Theres plenty of young English players after guys like Jones Bishop, Briscoe and Lomax who aren't far off a shot as well.

I would give Lomax and Widdop a go, Brough has struggled since returning from his injury, would also give J Tomkins a shot in the centre along with Atkins(2 big athletes). Wouldn't pick morley, think his time has passed.

Fair point, would have had Sam Burgess at prop if fit and not Peacock but we are a bit short and Peacocks form the back end of the season has been impressive.

I have to say I've not seen him in the last few games of the season so If you have then I'll bow to your more recent knowledge.
